April 2010 Conference General Information
Registering
The best price can be found in registering for the entire weekend: your choice from 7 intensives, 14 workshops, story slam, story swaps, fringe performances, and 4 story concerts. If you're coming for a single day, your registration gives you access to the workshops for the day and that evening's concert and fringe performance.
Membership
Renew your membership or join now! Include your membership dues with your conference registration and receive the Member Rates. Renewing members will find their membership expiration date printed on the address label of the brochure, or you mail email the office for information.
Graduate Credit Available
National-Louis University offers the opportunity to earn 1 graduate credit by attending the conference Friday-Sunday. Participants must meet for breakfast on Friday morning, sometime on Saturday, and again on Sunday. A response paper is mandatory. The cost of 1 graduate credit is $213 for 15 contact hours in addition to the conference fee. Register using the registration form and include your payment.
Resource Room
The Resource Room is open to conference attendees with items to sell. Northlands will staff the room and help you get started by supplying inventory sheets, price tags, etc., and will deduct a 25% commission from your total sales.
Room or Ride Sharing
When you register for the conference you will be added to our Google group email list. You may post your roommate or ride request to this group list. If you are not a member, you may send your request to info@northlands.net and we'll post it for you.
Workshop Choices
In order to plan room size requirements and have enough handouts available, please let us know your workshop choices on the registration form. In most cases you will be able to change your mind. Please email ahead of time or check availability when you arrive.
Students
You must be a full time student, up to age 22, to qualify for Student rates. All conference attendees under age 18 must be accompanied by a parent or temporary guardian.
Confirmations
After your registration is received, you will receive a confirmation email with any updated information regarding the conference or activities. Please make sure your email program is set to accept emails from info@northlands.net.
Contributions
Contributions are always welcome. See the registration form. Endowment contributions are invested and are used to fund special projects and programs.
