Nan has been telling tales for over 20 years in and around the great state of Minnesota. She's been heard at festivals (even those out of state) and says her favorite tall tale experience was slinging yarns in a local beer hall in Sarisilka, Finland, with Lapp gold miners (thanks to an amazing translator). Nan loves to tell tales that employ human history and geography because our epics evolve from both factors. You will find a lot of poetry in her telling. Fellow tellers have told her she "paints pictures" with words. Nan is a proud member of Northstar Storytelling League (MN) (northstarstorytelling.org) and one of the five dreamers of Klatch Productions (klatchproductions.com).
