"67 Years"
Video Available
In this heartwarming journey through life and love, Erin travels to the small town in Pennsylvania where her maternal grandparents met and began writing their legacy. As she takes a stroll through history, she wonders how such profound compassion and service became the foundation of the Yarletts' name. How is it that some can love so deeply, while others are left pining for connection? In the months after her grandparents' 67th wedding anniversary, Erin reflects on her own adventures in searching for love and living with a heart wide open.

"I'm A Believer"
Video Available
I’m a believer. I can’t help it. I was built that way. I am credulous, pretty gullible, and basically optimistic. I believe in the universe. I believe in spring. That belief cradles the hard times, shines warmth on the good times, and informs the stories I create and the poetry I write. These stories and poems tackle love, loss, and transformation. They are about the universe. And spring.

"Wicked? The Other Side of the Story"

Video Available
History is written by the victors, or at least those who end up in power. Finally, some of those painted as wicked villains in the stories you love step out of the shadows to share their truth. Powerful people like Princess Cinderella, who have been working hard to squash rumors of what really happened, will not control the narrative any longer. Come hear the true stories of those whose names and reputations have been destroyed. These poor, disparaged individuals will be silenced no more!

"Becoming Baba Yaga"
Video Available
When I was a child my great-aunt told me Baba Yaga stories, and I was both captivated and terrified. Now that I am becoming a crone, Baba Yaga again fascinates me. Becoming Baba Yaga explored the connections between aging, magic, and what it means to fully embrace my own witchy self. Personal narrative is woven into traditional Baba Yaga tales passed through my family, and The Witch of the Woods has a thing or two to say herself.

"Reciting Rapunzel and Other Stories"
Video Available
In thinking about/re-thinking traditional stories, I find myself asking "where are the men?" When they are present they appear as catalysts, foils, fools, and perhaps as Deus Ex Machina. The stories in this performance will be a broken mirror to men's roles and perspectives in retelling such tales as Rapunzel and Sir Gwain / Dame Ragnell.
