Marie is currently using i-Movies for Macs to create "Pajama Stories for Adults" and "Pajama Stories for Families," series of short stories that will be told virtually at Fringe Festivals, currently including the Denver Fringe June 24-27 and the MN Fringe August 5-15. This program enables storytellers to combine videos, still photography, music, sound cues, texts, and more.
Marie has told stories at the MN Fringe Festival, Twin Cities MOTH, Word Sprout and OUTSpoken at Strike Theater, Story Club Minneapolis at Bryant Lake Theater, Story Arts MN, Story Club/RISK, StorySistas, and other in person and online opportunities.
In additon, Marie advocates for people with neurological challenges, since sustaining Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBI) while working in the theater as a stagehand.
Marie lives in Saint Paul, MN with her partner Nanette, their two cats, Hrotsy and Hildy, and their dog, Rico.
Marie welcomes the opportunity to tell stories, host events, teach, and participate in public speaking regarding living with aquired disabilities.
