Warren “Bud” was first introduced to performing in front of an audience as a freshmen in High School, then enrolled at Chicago Institute of Arts, in their Theater Arts program. Followed by a number of years in radio, Summer Stock as well as various Civic Theater productions. Once married and children started appearing, he got into sales. By using applicable stories in the sales process he took his territories into the very top tier of territories for two different national firms.
Once retired he attended a couple of Storytelling programs and decided that was the way he wanted to get back into performing in front of audiences again. He has found Storytelling to be enjoyable for both himself and his audiences. At this time he performs primarily with Elementary Schools as well as with Nursing Homes and Assisted Living Facilities. The stories are usually 4 to 5 minutes in length. For other audiences he tells stories that are thirty-five to forty-five minutes in length. One of his favorites is :”He has 42 days to go”, which is the story of Lincoln from his second Inauguration to his death, six weeks later.
